placed in a position to be exposed to blood spills
without first:
-
Receiving bloodborne pathogen (BBP) training.
- Having
a written BBP exposure control plan.

been provided personal protective equipment.
- Having
been offered Hepatitis B vaccine and exposure

the bio-hazardous waste in properly marked
containers for disposal at an approved site.
Only after
these five steps have been talken can an employee be
required by his or her employer to clean a
bio-hazardous/crime scene.
-
The key to mold control is moisture control.
-
If mold is a problem in your home, you
should clean up the mold promptly and fix
the water problem.
-
It is important to dry water-damaged areas
and items within 24-48 hours to prevent mold growth.
There are over thirty different species of spores that
have been implicated as indoor allergens. Mold is known
to cause structural damage in buildings and health
problems. Mold travels quickly through airborne spores.
As the mold grows, it digests the surface it is attached
to. This causes the surface to breakdown.
B-D Trauma Scene Clean
has the
ability to collect and analyze samples in the field and
generate a preliminary report within 1-3 days. This will
allow our clients to develop a course of action in a
short period of time. Samples are reviewed by a
Microbiologist on staff, and sent to an accredited AIHA
lab for analysis.
